The price of Honda City Hybrid model is reduced by up to Rs 3 lakh under the new electric car policy.





Many lucrative strategies are being developed by the government as well as state governments to encourage the use of electric vehicles (EVs). This includes both grants and incentives. Haryana is the latest state to approve the electric vehicle (EV) policy.












Under the policy, manufacturers or manufacturers of electric vehicles would be eligible to get 50% of their SGST for the first ten years. Additionally, manufacturers will be able to enjoy incentives of up to Rs. 1 crore for the construction of interstate electric car disposal facilities.

Additionally, under this policy, Haryana residents are entitled to discounts ranging from 15% to 40% on electric vehicles. Customers will get a maximum rebate of up to Rs. 6 lakhs on this.

Customers can avail a 15% discount of up to Rs. 10 lakhs on electric vehicles costing between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 70,000,000. This policy extends coverage to hybrid vehicles. On hybrid vehicles priced below Rs. 40 lakhs, a lump sum discount of 15% up to Rs. 3 lakh is provided.

Discount up to ₹3 lakh

The price of Honda City Hybrid model is reduced by up to Rs 3 lakh under the new electric car policy. It is now priced at 19.53 lakh, but a 15% discount will result in a price reduction of up to 2.9 lakh.












Only the petrol version of the 1.5 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine of this car, which produces 98 hp and 127 Nm of torque, was used by the manufacturer. Its power and torque are the highest after the electric motor at 126PS and 253Nm, respectively.

Mileage of 26.5 km/litre

The vehicle has three driving modes: engine, electric vehicle and hybrid. This implies that you can use this vehicle in electric only, electric and petrol (hybrid) or petrol only mode. According to the manufacturer, this vehicle has a mileage of up to 26.5 km/l. The automaker has equipped it with a single-deck sunroof, ambient lighting, smartwatch integration and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with linked car technology that supports supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and WebLink.

Subsidy of Rs 48,000 per year for employees

For a period of ten years, the reimbursement of SGST under this new EV policy will be equal to 50% of the relevant net SGST. All companies that produce electric vehicles, electric vehicle parts, electric vehicle batteries and charging infrastructure will be eligible for the incentives. Additionally, companies installing battery disposal facilities would receive 15% of fixed capital expenditure up to Rs. 1 crore.












The Haryana EV Policy 2022 also guarantees job creating subsidy of Rs 48,000 (Rs48.00) per employee, per year, for a period of ten years, in exchange for Haryana residents working with vehicle companies electrical.
