Involving a total budget of RM 551.56 million, the Selangor state government yesterday announced the Pakej Kita Selangor 2.0 which includes 25 initiatives, including Data Internet Selangor focused on B40 and Skim Internet Selangor Kategori M40. In addition to this, Menteri Besar of Selangor Amirudin Shari also announced that the state is working with To catch to offer a discount for trips to administrative vaccination centers (PPV).
The minister said the RM20 discount is intended to help and encourage the citizens of Selangor, especially the elderly, to get vaccinated. He also said the refund would be made available to 50,000 people statewide, although the exact terms and conditions of the refund were not revealed during the announcement.
Nevertheless, he also pointed out that one million ringgit has been set aside for the handing over of the Grab ride which will be deployed from July 1, 2021. Before that, Grab had already offered a similar promotion to the elderly with discounts of up to RM8 for four trips, which should be enough to cover their two vaccination sessions. However, this offer is no longer available as the verification process has already been completed on June 7, 2021.
